Former President Trump just spoke moments after his arraignment in a Washington DC federal courtroom.
Trump started by saying “This is a very sad day for America.”
He spoke for less than a minute which is very different than what we’ve seen from him the other two times he was arraigned in Florida and New York. He did not take any questions from the media. He just walked straight on to his plane.
It’s worth noting – the person handing him his umbrella is his co-defendant in the classified documents case Walt Nauta.
