President Trump just pleaded not guilty again.
This not guilty plea has nothing to do with yesterday’s not guilty plea.
Today’s not guilty plea was trump’s response to the superseding indictment that was filed last week in the classified documents case. That case is being heard in front of judge cannon in the southern district of Florida.
I told you in this video last week — special counsel Jack Smith issued that superseding indictment that added one additional count for willful retention of national defense information and two additional obstruction counts related to alleged attempts to delete surveillance video at Mar-a-Lago in the summer of 2022 for Trump and added another co-defendant to the indictment.
The former President did not have to be in the Florida federal courtroom to enter this not guilty plea, his lawyers filed this document instead. because he already pleaded not guilty in person to the original indictment it wasn’t necessary for him to be present today.
