PART 1: Correction emails from Dept. of Education being sent after mistake “approvals” of student loan forgiveness

December 14, 2022

Two *big* pieces of news for those of you waiting on that student loan forgiveness. I’m going to do this in two parts. First piece of news in part 1 and the second piece of news in part two.

First — if you were one of the millions of people who received an email saying your student loan forgiveness application had been “approved” the Department of Education is now saying – oops…sorry. That was a mistake.

So many of you have told me you received one of those emails. But if you haven’t already, you’ll soon be getting a correction email from the education department saying – as I have reported repeatedly – your application has been received but it is not allowed to be reviewed to even determine whether it’ll be approved or not.

And the reason why that is – is in part two along with another big piece of student loan forgiveness news. It’s already posted.
