So many of you have asked me about this letter from the white house. Lots of you got it in the mail recently and you’re confused about what it is.
Let me clear it up.
First, I’ll tell you what it’s not. It is *not* a letter telling you you’re going to receive any more stimulus money.
Read it carefully.
It’s a letter the IRS is required – by law – to send you as a confirmation that you qualified for an eip3 stimulus payment, how much money you qualified for and how it was sent to you, either by direct deposit, check or debit card.
And it’s signed by the president.
This letter is documentation of the eip3 stimulus for your records only.
That’s all it is.
The letter goes on to address some of the other benefits you may qualify for under the American Rescue Act signed into law in march. Like PPP loans for small businesses, the child tax credit and unemployment benefits.

The White House has just shut down travel into the united states from India.
The travel ban takes effect May 4 at 12:01 am eastern.
If you’ve been paying attention, you’d know India is seeing a massive influx of covid19 cases and soaring deaths after the country prematurely claimed victory over the virus while the variants were still circulating and before vaccines were widely available and supplies were low.
This travel ban does not apply to US citizens coming back home to the United States. Though – like with any international travel — you will have to produce a negative covid19 test before you’re allowed back into the United States.
This comes on the heels of the other travel ban imposed by white house against non-us travelers from Brazil, the United Kingdom, Ireland and 26 other European countries as I detailed in this video.
Now India is added to the list.
That means if a non-US citizen has been in any of those countries within the last 14 days that traveler will not be eligible to enter the United States.
Permanent US residents, family members and some other non-US citizens – like aid workers –will still be permitted to return to the US. But all will still need to present a negative covid 19 test.

It’s official.
If you’re getting on a plane, bus or train – you’ll be required to wear one of these until September 13th.
The TSA just issued a notice saying that it is extending the face mask requirement for individuals across all transportation networks throughout the country including airports, onboard commercial aircraft, buses, and rail systems.
The mask requirement was supposed to expire on May 11th but the TSA says it needed to be extended because of new guidance from the CDC.
The TSA also wanted to make clear the penalties still remain. If you are unwilling to wear a mask at an airport you will be asked to leave until you put one on, you may be fined up to $1500 dollars for non-compliance, and you may be banned from that airline, bus or train.
Kids under two and those with certain disabilities are exempt from the face mask rules.
