The IRS issued another two million EIP3 stimulus payments yesterday bringing the total number of distributed payments to 163 million.
This was the 7th round of distribution to people who have not yet received their third stimulus check of $1400.
If you are still missing your EIP3 stimulus check or missing a portion of your EIP3 stimulus payment, don’t stress. The IRS says they will continue to drop new batches of payments every week as they continue to process 2020 tax returns.
This is not a new stimulus check this is the 3rd stimulus check included in March’s American Rescue stimulus law.
So who was included in this 7th round?
- 1.2 million payments went to eligible taxpayers who qualified but the IRS didn’t have your information. That information was included in a recently filed and processed tax return
- This batch also included 730,000 “plus up” payments. Those are payments given to Americans who were owed more stimulus money based on a newly processed 2020 tax return. I actually have a video specifically explaining the “plus up” payments.
The pay date for this 7th batch of payments went out on April 28 in the form of both direct deposits and physical checks. The IRS official guidance is to allow three to four weeks for delivery of a physical check.

You probably know the cruise industry has been shut down in the united states since the beginning of the pandemic.
But the CDC just issued a letter to the cruise industry saying as the cruise lines comply with the CDC’s conditional sailing order, they’ll be good to go.
Cruises can resume out of u-s ports possibly as early as mid-July if:
- 95% of paying passengers and 98% of crew members are fully vaccinated against Covid19.
- Cruise ships will require a negative Covid19 PCR lab test for all paying passengers who are not vaccinated and a negative rapid antigen test for paying vaccinated passengers before getting on the ship.
- The cruise ship must submit a multi-port agreement signed off by all ports it travels to and those local authorities
- If a passenger is exposed to Covid19, and that passenger is local, he or she can leave the boat and will be able to drive home to quarantine. If the passenger is not local, that passenger must quarantine in a hotel.
- In the October 2020 conditional sailing order cruise ships were required to conduct test cruises to allow crew and port personnel to practice strict new covid-19 testing, and tracing procedures with volunteers before they0 were allowed to sail with paying passengers. But under this new guidance those test runs can be avoided if 95-percent of passengers and 98-percent of crew members are vaccinated.
The CDC has taken a lot of heat over its cruise line restrictions over the last year, but industry leaders say these new clarifications to the sailing order are a step in the right direction.
