Trump Said What About #epsteinfiles Release?

December 22, 2025

President Trump just shared his thoughts on the Epstein file release. This is the first time he’s said anything about it since Friday.

In case you didn’t catch that – President Trump who signed the Epstein transparency act into law in November was talking today during a press conference at Mar-a-Lago about the backlash that is happening over what his department of justice released and what they didn’t release.

To be clear – in Trump’s view – he believes the backlash to the file release isn’t happening because the Department of Justice isn’t following the law that says all the files were supposed to be released last Friday. And it’s not because the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein aren’t getting the information they wanted and the information they’re entitled to–

In his view is the backlash is happening because trump says there are pictures being released of Epstein with other men and that is according to Trump is “ruining the reputations” of those men because they appeared in a photo with Epstein that are now public. For the record — the Epstein transparency act — forbids the department of justice from redacting someone’s face just because it may be embarrassing or cause reputational harm. That’s the law trump signed. Also — he said nothing about the survivors.

Now, Trump did not use the word hoax but he did say the release of the files is only being used by politicians to deflect from what he calls his tremendous success. Trump also went on to trash representative Thomas Massie the Republican from Kentucky who co-sponsored the Epstein transparency act – calling him a ‘loser.”

For the record every single republican in both the house and the senate minus one voted yes to pass the Epstein transparency act to force the release of these. So the reality is – Massie wasn’t the only one responsible for this.

Now – we are still anticipating more Epstein photos and documents will be released by the department of justice in the coming days and weeks.
