I’ve spent a lot of time today going through these new Epstein documents. Obviously I haven’t yet seen all 3 million yet, but I’ve seen enough. And honestly – there are some truly horrific things in there which I’m going to get as much as I can in a second…but perhaps the most troubling part of this is what’s not included in the files. Not only did the assistant attorney general of the United States of America get up to the podium with the US flag behind him and acknowledge there’s one big thing missing – he said it like it’s no big deal.
Huh? This case has been going on for more than 20 years and we know for a fact that the DOJ itself has identified more than 1200 Epstin survivors. And we also know for a fact that one prominent Epstein survivor Virginia Giuffre named dozens of men involved. We know there are names. So – there can only be two things going on with the department of justice and the FBI. Either one — Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell singlehandedly abused more than a thousand girls and absolutely no one else was involved…which I guess could be possible. Or two — there are other people involved and the DOJ is not tracking all that down for whatever reason or they have tracked it down and they believe for whatever reason there’s not enough evidence to support any more investigation or prosecution. But the thing is – if that’s the case – then there should be documents that reflect that in these released files. That’s required by the Epstein Transparency Act. And I haven’t one of those documents yet.
But I will tell you just recently – Ghislaine Maxwell just filed a court document that contradicts Todd Blanche’s story. Given – Maxwell is a known liar and she will do or say anything to get out prison at this point. But – she did file this new claim and swear to it in a court and she said there are four named co-conspirators and 25 men with “secret settlements” who were not indicted as part of their alleged crimes related to the Epstein. When asked about those men and co-conspirators today — assistant attorney general blanche said he has no idea what she’s talking about.
There are a whole bunch of documents missing in today’s dump of files– that we absolutely know exist. The big one is the 60 count indictment of federal crimes complete with witness accounts – an assistant US attorney in Florida was about to drop on Jeffrey Epstein in 2007 just before US attorney Alex Acosta swept in – trashed that inducement and gave Jeffrey Epstein that sweetheart deal. That 60-count indictment is no where to be found in today’s drop. Why? We have no answer.
But I can tell you what is included. This document. It’s something that a lot of people have been talking about today. Let me give you a little context about what it is. It is a compilation of “salacious” tips the FBI received over an unknown period of time from people claiming that they or someone they knew were victims of Epstein. Some of this stuff is second hand or third hand information. These are allegations – in this country tips and allegations are not convictions. That’s not how it works. The fact is no one was charged with any crime related to any of these tips. But according to this FBI tip sheet there are accusations about then citizen Donald Trump, former President Bill Clinton and Robin Leach – the lifestyles of the rich and famous guy – just to name a few. Some of these tips – the FBI says they’ve followed up with the tipster and either couldn’t get in contact with the person who called or the tipster was not credible or in one case – that they did send someone to physically go interview the tipster who was reporting on behalf of an “unidentified female friend”. Now – the tips include truly horrific accusations of sexual abuse, trafficking and even death. According to the document some of the tips have a column that says what the result of the FBI contact was. None of them resulted in any robust investigation – at least according to this document. But I think what’s most interesting about this tips sheet is it’s fairly new. Not that the tips are new…but it appears that in august of 2025 – someone whose name is redacted at the FBI was asking someone at the child exploitation and human trafficking task force for a compilation of “Trump accusers.” This sheet doesn’t say *why* the FBI wanted this list.
There are several documents included in today’s dump that clearly include jpg images – but every link is broken – so you can’t see what they are. And then of course there’s the classic entire pages that are blacked out.
Now – the last point I want to make about all this is assistant attorney general Todd Blanche revealed today that the DOJ had about 6 million documents and they only released between three or three and a half million. That’s about half that the DOJ is refusing to release. Blanche said the DOJ did what they were required to do according to the law, this is over and the department was never going to make everyone happy. So it is what it is.
We’ll see what congress says about that.
Watch Blanche’s press conference here.
