She’s at the white house to meet with President Biden, Dr. Fauci and shoot some videos all in the hopes of encouraging young people who are eligible to get their Covid19 vaccine.
The videos will appear on the 18-year old’s social media channels with millions of followers as well as the white house’s social media channels.
This is the latest effort by the white house to get young people vaccinated as the more contagious delta variant spreads across the country. Emergency room doctors say younger and younger people are showing up to hospitals across the country who are very, very ill with covid19. The white house says the 18-27 year old age group has been the slowest to be vaccinated and has been the hardest to reach.
