No, You're Not Done Changing Your Clocks...yet. | Lisa Remillard

No, you’re not done changing your clocks…yet.

Tomorrow – don’t forget – we are falling back.

Yes – we’re still doing this crap.

Sunday November 5th marks the end of daylight saving time and the switch to standard time. That means we’re going to have morning with more light, and darkness arriving earlier. But on the up side – we’re all going to get one more hour of sleep.

Now – I know many of you were thinking we were done with all this clock changing nonsense after the sunshine protection act passed the senate in 2021.

Y’all are really hanging on to that one.

But as I have reported repeatedly – back then that bill died in the house.

But – this year — the bill was reintroduced in both the house and the senate. But it is sitting in committees in both chambers. There hasn’t been any real movement on the bill recently. And with all the major issues happening in this country and the world – honestly – congress has bigger fish to fry.

Now – I’m not saying this bill is dead. Not at all – there’s still a chance it can pass. The question is – when? At this point – there is no timeframe.

So in the meantime – change your clock before you go to sleep tonight. And then we’ll switch back to daylight saving time on Sunday March 10.
