This face.
I was astonished at how pressed some of you were in the comments about it.
Now – one thing about me I’m going to call bullshit when I see it. These comments are bullshit and I have the receipts to prove it.
First you need to understand this is the face I make in videos when someone else is talking – no matter who it is. Neutral. No expression. No emotion. I’ll show you.
So here’s that video about RFK Jr. at Trump’s rally, then here’s a video about RFJ Jr. dropping out, here’s a video about Harris and her economic policy from a few weeks ago. Here’s video about Trump and Harris. Here’s a video about Trump’s economic plan and here’s a video about the Federal Reserve chairman I did just yesterday. Notice anything? On yeah…it’s the same damn face.
I do it on purpose. Because one –I don’t want you focusing on my face I want you to hear the important thing the person is saying. And two – because as a journalist, it is not my job to share my opinions or show how I feel about any story I cover. I have never once done that. The reality is anything you *think* you see on my face or in my body language is your own bias. It’s what you want to believe that I believe. And what you *want to believe about me is not something I can control. All I can do is my job. Which I have done day in and day out.
Honestly, I feel uncomfortable even making this video. I do not like talking about myself. Because for those who have followed me for a long time you know – this page has never been about me. It’s a place for me to share the facts with you without any of my own opinions so you can make your own decisions about what’s going on. These days – I get that’s a foreign concept. Especially in a world where everyone’s trying to stand out and thinks by shouting their opinions into the void of the internet it’ll get them the attention they want. But that’s not what real journalists do. I’ve been reporting the news this exact same way professionally for more than 20 years and I’m not going to change that for you or anyone else anytime soon.
Lastly I have noticed something interesting. I don’t know if it’s a coincidence, or anecdotal or if it’s bots. But the reality is large quantities of comments about my face or the perception of how I feel about a story or that I’m biased one way or another or insults about me personally really seem to pop up on videos that involve former President Trump. They don’t come up in large volumes on any other story when I use soundbites. I don’t know why. But whatever the reason if you don’t like the way I’m reporting the news. Swipe away, block me. Whatever you need to do. The fact is I am doing this work for you every single day for free. No one pays me. I don’t get funding from anyone except through the views I get on these videos and through my amazing subscribers who support me through thick and thin. I hope this was helpful so you understand what journalism looks like and how my page works.
