There’s your update on the house’s impeachment inquiry into President Biden.
They’re not done yet. They have not yet reached a decision about whether to move forward and impeach him or not. And that’s how the new speaker wants it.
During Speaker Johnson’s first official weekly press conference today — he was asked several questions about what’s happening with the inquiry into the alleged wrongdoing of President Biden.
Last we really heard – we were watching that six hour hearing in late September which I covered in detail in this video – but we really haven’t heard much about it since then. The three house committees at the center of this investigation, judiciary, ways and means and oversight have apparently been doing their work quietly behind the scenes.
But the Speaker acknowledged both Democrats and Republicans are getting a little anxious about when this thing’s going to wrap up. He says he has not told the committees what their decisions should be.
