The great resignation continues!
For the second month in a row – more than 4 million American workers said “adios” to their nine to five. So says the US Labor Department.
The newly released report said 4.4 million workers quit their job in September. That’s on top of the 4.3 million workers who quit in August. That leaves 10.4 million job openings.
So what industries are losing the most workers?
The largest increases in arts, entertainment, and recreation (+56,000); other services (+47,000); and state and local government education (+30,000). Quits decreased in wholesale trade (-30,000). The number of quits increased in the west region.
