If you’re fully vaccinated in most cases – you do not need to be wearing one of these – at least when you’re outdoors.
The CDC issued new guidance about mask wearing this morning…that guidance came in the form of this graphic. Green means safe, yellow means less safe and red means least safe. The activities are listed down the middle.
You can see on the right side – for those who are fully vaccinated – all activities are safe – though some still require a mask…like all indoor events.
But if you’re fully vaccinated – you do not need to wear a mask outdoors whether you’re working out or attending a small gathering with other people.
The CDC says — you are considered “fully vaccinated”, two weeks after your final covid19 shot.
And for those who have not been vaccinated, the guidance says you need to keep your mask on for almost every activity and only a few are safe.

On the eve of his 100th day in office, President Joe Biden will address a joint session of congress.
PS..that’s tomorrow night.
The speech – will be his first to the joint session but it’ll look a lot different than usual.
Normally, these types of speeches attract almost all 535 members of the house and senate, their guests, plus all the supreme court justices, cabinet secretaries and lots of media. The house chamber is packed.
But because of social distancing concerns, this time around — the sergeant at arms has capped the audience at about 200 people even though the house chamber can accommodate more than 1500.
That means, some lawmakers did not receive an invitation nor did any of their guests. Plus – only the Chief Justice John Roberts will represent the Supreme Court and two cabinet secretaries.
Though the president is speaking to a joint session of congress this is *not* considered a formal “state of the union” address because technically, presidents don’t give that speech until their second year in office.
So what will he talk about?
We’re expecting him to tout his accomplishments in delivering more than 200 million covid19 vaccinations, getting covid infections down, and passing a huge stimulus package.
He’s also expected to talk about his infrastructure stimulus plan and the tax plan to pay for it, and he may touch on the need for congress to pass legislation on guns and policing.
There will also be two different response speeches – one from the republicans delivered by Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) and one from the progressive democrats delivered by Representative Jamaal Bowman. (D-NY) also, since so many will not be allowed in the chamber there is no need for a designated survivor.
The speech starts around 9 pm. Eastern tomorrow night and should be available on all broadcast networks, cable news networks and YouTube.
