What happens with the president after the midterm elections?
Well, midterms don’t really impact the office of the President. Every President gets a four-year term. But what impacts the president’s work after a midterm –is who controls Congress. For example, right now the Democrats control the White House, the House and just barely control the Senate. But if after the Midterms, the Republicans take over one or both congressional chambers, that will impact what the President can accomplish.
That is why I created the midterm election guide, to give you an election score card that has every single US House and Senate race listed. I’ve personally been using to keep track of the balance of power on election night for years.
