🚨BREAKING NEWS🚨 Trump Fired Attorney General Pam Bondi

April 2, 2026

Pam Bondi is out. President Trump just fired her.

Bondi lasted about a year and two months as attorney general of the United States. Rumblings about her firing have been circulating intensely for the last few days but really for the last few months. Many people thought this was coming…and now it’s here.

Trump just posted that Bondi is a “great American patriot and loyal friend” – he said “we love pam and she will be transitioning to a much needed and important job in the private sector.”

Just yesterday morning, Bondi was with President Trump at the Supreme Court oral argument on birthright citizenship….and yesterday afternoon when he was asked if he was going to fire her Trump praised Bondi saying she is a “wonderful person and she’s doing a good job.”

But that didn’t stop Trump from firing her today.

Here’s the thing – Bondi has been so loyal to President Trump – doing almost everything in her legal power to do what he wants. But Trump has been frustrated with her lack of success of prosecuting people Trump sees as his political enemies – like James Comey and Leticia James. And when it came to the Epstein files, even trump’s chief of staff Susie Wiles said on the record that everyone thinks Bondi “whiffed” on that issue. She said the client list was on her desk, she brought those influencers to the white house and gave them nothing new and then of course – when congress passed the Epstein files transparency act – she couldn’t and still hasn’t been able to produce all the documents required under the law.

Speaking of the Epstein files – Bondi was subpoenaed by the house oversight committee and is supposed to be deposed about her handling of the files on April 14th. Whether that’s going to happen or not…we don’t know.

So what’s going to happen to the Department of Justice now? Well – the deputy attorney general Todd Blanche – trump’s former personal lawyer – is going to take over temporarily as acting AG until Trump can nominate a new candidate to be the next attorney general. And then – brace yourself – because we’re going to get an explosive confirmation hearing for anyone Trump nominates.
