We just got more information about that brand new high altitude object or “unidentified object” shot down by US F-22 fighter jets in Canada today.
No this isn’t an old video. It’s Saturday afternoon.
The Pentagon and White House both just put out a statements saying this “high altitude” unidentified and unmanned object was spotted late last night initially flying over Alaska. NORAD was on it and two F-22s based in Alaska were sent up to keep an eye on it. By this morning, it had crossed into northern Canada. Then Canadian fighter jets were sent up to watch it too.
The Canadian Prime Minister and President Biden spoke this morning and Biden gave the authorization for our F22s to stay in the game and work in conjunction with our Canadian allies. Out of an “abundance of caution” the White House says both Trudeau and Biden authorized the jets to shoot it down. And it was the US F22 that fired the missile.
The object fell into Canadian territory and they are working to recover the pieces. The FBI is also going to work with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to try and figure out what it was.
