Supreme Court denies Trump request to intervene in Mar-a-Lago documents case

October 13, 2022

Former President Trump has lost his bid to get the Supreme Court to intervene in the case over the top secret documents seized from Mar-a-Lago.

Literally it was sentence ending with the word denied.

The former President was hoping the justices would overrule the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals ruling and instead allow the Special Master to review the 100 most sensitive top secret documents the FBI found in boxes in Trump’s Florida home.

This action means, the 11th Circuit ruling stands, those 100 documents are back in the possession of the government in secure locations and the former President and Special Master do not have access to them. The Department of Justice’s criminal investigation into how the documents got to Mar-a-Lago in the first place is still ongoing.
