According to NYU’s Journalism School, this year marks the first annual American Journalism Online Awards. AJO Awards were created to celebrate new & creative ways journalists connect with the public & to shine a light on excellence in reporting, writing & news production across genres. These awards were focused on journalists who don’t normally receive the credit they deserve.
Lisa Remillard was awarded “Honorable Mention” for “Best TikTok Explainer.”
