The Epstein files have now been released…well at least some of them. More on that in a second.

The justice department has labeled this the Epstein library. As of right now it includes court records, DOJ disclosures and previously released freedom of information act disclosures and disclosures already released by the justice department to the house oversight committee.
Now – here’s the thing –we know this isn’t the full Epstein file. This is only a fraction of the documents the department of justice has in its possession. The DOJ is not following the law. The Epstein transparency act that President Trump signed last month is very specific. It says DOJ *shall* release –not may release — *shall* release all documents related to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell no later than 30 days after Trump signed the law. 30 days after Trump signed the law is today – and they aren’t doing it.
Now – lawmakers have suggested that they’re willing to hold Pam Bondi and her DOJ deputies responsible for this in contempt of congress or willing to impeach Bondi over this. We’ll see if they follow through.
