Trump & Harris BOTH agree to televised town hall

September 24, 2024

Well we are not going to get another Trump & Harris debate but we are going to get something.

Univision just announce both candidates have agreed to participate in two separate town halls where former President trump and Vice President Harris will interact with audience members live. Univision says this will be a way for both candidates to engage with undecided Hispanic voters.

Univision says 36 million Hispanics are eligible to vote in the United States and that makes them a large part of the electorate so this event will be tailored to them but will obviously have impacts for every other American voters too. And obviously both campaigns agree this is an important voting bloc because both have agreed to this event. Univision says the audience will be made up of those undecided Hispanic voters who will themselves be asking questions of each of the candidates about things like the economy, jobs, healthcare, immigration and foreign policy.

Former President Trump will participate in his town hall on October 8th in Miami. And Vice President Harris will participate in her town hall on October 10th in Las Vegas. Both town halls will be moderated by Enrique Acevedo and both will be broadcast at 10 pm eastern on Univision and will also be live streamed on Univision’s YouTube page. Univision says there will be Spanish language translation of each of the events.
